On the new single 'Night of the Witch' from the new album Titans of Creation
Eric: I'm surprised the record company went with that one as the first single. I'm happy about it because it's one of the faster, heavier songs from the album. I also sing part of the chorus, Chuck (Billy) calls it my 'witch' voice. The album is a fairly diverse record, it's got some moodier melodic songs and plenty of fast heavy ones too. We worked with Andy Sneap again, he's a real professional, I think this record's production is some of his best work yet. The mix is just extra heavy and crisp, I think fans are going to really like it.
On how Pepper Keenan ended up coming back to the band
Woody: "We’ve been hanging with Pep even through all that time. We were doing some 3 piece C.O.C., the early stuff like harkening back to the early 80s. We’d do shows and he’s in another band, Down, and they’d be doing the same festival so Keenan would pop over and we’d play some songs together on stage. We’ve pretty much been chatting this whole time just waiting for the right time to pounce on it. It wound up that this was the right time. We’ve been out on the road together for the last year and a half to two years and just discovered that it was gelling and...
There aren’t many bigger names in metal than SLAYER and Australia is extremely lucky they get to experience one last time and to farewell this legendary band as they hit Download Festival and sideshows in Brisbane and Adelaide with fellow Big Four brothers ANTHRAX and the Polish Hammer of BEHEMOTH.
What can be said about SLAYER that already hasn’t been said? So far into their career and the final album ‘Repentless’ scored their highest ever Australian chart entry at #3 on the ARIA Chart. An incredible achievement this far into their career! Don’t miss this last chance to witness part of what has been an incredibl...
It’s almost been 2 years since you joined Caligula’s Horse. You’ve already done great things in that time, played huge shows alongside well known international metal bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan and you recorded drums for the very well received album “In Contact”. What have the last 2 years for you been like?
Complete and utter madness! Ha ha. In all seriousness, it's been incredible. If you told me 2 years ago that I would join Caligula's Horse and tour with Opeth, Pain Of Salvation, sleepmakeswaves and meet some of my musical heroes, I probably would've laughed it off. I really hit the ground running...
Evan: We’re really lucky so far, it’s been really good. It really seems to be connecting with people which is the most that you can hope for. You put you’re all into it and try to put out the very best version of you possible and we work really hard to do that, we were all very proud of the end result but you never know how people are going to react until they start reacting! Luckily it’s been quite positive so far.
Yeah so about a year and a half ago I was really dying to start a band and had a bunch of songs together that I wanted to play out but you can’t really go out there an...

We’re having much more fun than we thought we would and we’re playing better I think. Really tight. I think back in the day sometimes we would get a little bored and just start doing goofy things on stage. I remember once in Australia we had the wheel of encore which was funny but like it was just kind of an inside joke. Whereas now its complete rock n roll. Its a very joyous, but no bullshit rock n roll performance.. There is no shenanigans going on, it's just a non-stop barrage of music. That is what we are singularly focussed on; just a very tight rock show.
