Levi: I'm really pumped that you're coming back to Australia, I've actually seen every show you've played in Brisbane. I've been a big fan ever since I heard Feel The Steel Stix: That's sweet, dude. Levi: Did you have fun last time? Stix: Dude, we always have fun in Australia. It's a fucking wonderful country. Levi: How does it differentiate between playing shows in America? Do you think our audiences are different? Stix: Yeah. You guys have a different accent, so there's th
Levi: Can you tell us about the new album 'Profit' by The Jelly Jam? John: It's an album that's been in the works for the last few years. I think it could be the best album we've done together out of the four Jelly Jam albums. That's definitely how we feel as a band about it. We're really proud of it and think it's a great accomplishment. We hope people will eventually find out about it and like it and think positively about it. Levi: You talk a lot about Vikings and Warriors on the new album 'Sword Songs', is there any particular period of history that this album is based on? JB: E ver since we started this band, there's been quite a lot of focus on norse mythology and the part of history which concerned the Viking era. Sometimes they are personal and somet

We've been going to Australia for 22 years now, we've seen a lot change, we've seen our fans grow up, we see new fans, we see a lot of change in the country but it's still a wonderful place and we love going there. Levi: You've got a new album coming out in two weeks time. It's called The Concrete Confessional. Can you tell us a bit about the album? Jamey: Yeah, we recorded it back like October, November, we worked with Zeus again. He did a great job. he's been working with us since Perseverance. He engineered Perseverance and Supremacy and we trust him. He's a guy who can say, “okay this sucks”, or “this isn't great” or “do this again” without like being too much of a dick, but being j
Levi: How did it go recording Underworld? How was it playing Symphony X after playing with Adrenaline Mob? Russell: Getting back to Symphony X was pretty easy and straight forward. I worked with Mike (Michael Romeo) with his ideas we used for the record, I recorded everything pretty quickly, about 8 days. The Mob (Adrenaline Mob) kept me in good shape, those songs are really high energy, and I’ve been onstage the whole time. I was really able to go at this record in the best
