On the writing process for "Beneath The Remains":

Max: "It was a crazy time, man. At that time in Brazil, we only used to play five shows a year, so it was very slow and we were, like, really hungry — we wanted to do more. We knew we could do more. We knew we could be touring. It was a bit of frustration building inside the band, but we knew if we kept working, things will eventually pick up. I got a contract. I finally got a ticket to New York and dropped off a bunch of records in New York and one [label] was Roadrunner and Monte [Conner] called us back and gave us a contract. We were on cloud nine. Recording fo...

There aren’t many bigger names in metal than SLAYER and Australia is extremely lucky they get to experience one last time and to farewell this legendary band as they hit Download Festival and sideshows in Brisbane and Adelaide with fellow Big Four brothers ANTHRAX and the Polish Hammer of BEHEMOTH.

What can be said about SLAYER that already hasn’t been said? So far into their career and the final album ‘Repentless’ scored their highest ever Australian chart entry at #3 on the ARIA Chart. An incredible achievement this far into their career! Don’t miss this last chance to witness part of what has been an incredibl...

Can you tell us a bit about the new album, The Spell? I only just got a copy today, so I just finished listening to it about 10 minutes ago. Can you tell us about the recording process?

Anna: Well, The Spell is a concept album. I'm not sure if you could realize that just from listening? It's a concept album, so we actually wrote the music according to a lyrical guideline. The track list was also already there before writing the music. And that's something we've never done before, so that was a really special process.
As far as the recording process goes, a lot of the songs were recorded, and actually written,...

Levi: So, my first question is, you're coming back to Australia and I believe you were only here about a year ago or even less. Firstly, how did the last tour go? I'm guessing it must have been pretty well if you want to come back so soon.

Chris: Yeah, oh, it was great to connect, you know, with the fans was just out of control, you know, they knew every word to every song and it was so exciting to come over there for the first time and have it be such a great time.

Levi: Yeah, I heard some of the shows were even sold out. Were you kind of surprised at, when you finally came to Australia, that, you know, you h...

I've been playing STEEM MONSTERS now for over a week so I thought I'd share my initial impressions with you.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the game, I've always thought if Cryptocurrency's are ever going get "mainstream" recognition and acceptance, it needs to offer services to which have "mainstream" appeal.

So for anyone that's unfamiliar with STEEM MONSTERS it's a digital battle card game similar to games like "Hearthstone", "Magic the Gathering" "Pokemon" and "Yugioh".
When I first heard of the game I thought it might be a bit "second rate" in comparison to the big name battle card games I just listed, but...

On new wrestling company ALL Elite Wrestling (AEW)

"Well, I think that any competition is good for the business. I look at AEW as somebody that is going to provide a place for talent to work and guys can get exposure. So anything new ... I just hope they're successful. I hope they're smart in how they conduct their business. If they're successful that means that the business is healthy and provides a lot of opportunity for other talent to have work."

What we can expect from the 'Something to Wrestle' spoken word show coming to Australia this March?

"Well, it's gonna be a one man show. I'll be solo. But I'll b...

On the band's new album, "Damned If You Do":

Mike: "I'm very happy with it. Kurdt [Vanderhoof, guitar] and I go into the studio in his house and write and record albums like we have from the very beginning. We approach it just trying to have as much fun as we possibly can and not overthink it. If it feels to good to us, then we carry on with it. If it doesn't, we move on. Having said that, we went in the studio and had a really good time, and [now] we just hope for the best. Since it came out, we've been getting very good reviews, and that just really makes us feel great."

On the upcoming Australian tour which kicks off on New Years Eve...

Lindsay: "I'm excited to come back, I'm a little bit nervous about the harp set. I know the DJ set will be fun and easy. I'm just getting over a hand injury at the moment so I'm kind of like the drummer from Def Leppard so I'm playing my harp with my left hand. I'm a little nervous about that but honestly I think I'll be okay once my hand heals. It's just from the heavy travel with Cradle of Filth and I'm just an idiot and overexert myself. So i'm just going to do that for now. My fans are really cool and understanding If I just turned up and pla...

Levi: Really excited about this interview because for me the first Misfits album I ever heard was American Psycho, and then Scream. So, for me, you're almost like the original Misfits singer, because you're the first guy I heard. So, to me, yeah, they're definitely my favorite albums. And, awesome to be able to talk to you, because in high school I listened to, and I still do, those two albums just all the time. Are you excited about the tour? What songs do you got planned for Australia, and has it been awhile since you played here?

Michale Graves: The last time I came down there was with Marky Ramone. I think it...

On the upcoming tour of Australia

We really want to try build something where we can come back and as soon as possible afterwards. Right now we are putting a set list together, we wanna play stuff from the first 7 albums and material from the new album "The Wake"

On recording the new album "The Wake"

The chemistry in the band right now is really fantastic, we found sort of a fresh style and everyone collaborated. Chewy was the main composer, we really worked like crazy. Frances who owns the studio we are recording at these days really went crazy and did lots of layers of music, it was a long trip and it's a pretty...

Toyah Cordingley a beautiful, highly popular 24 year old animal and music loving young lady. Ms Cordingley's body was discovered in the dunes at Wangetti Beach, north of Cairns, on October 22, a day after she was reported missing.

Toyah was taken from us way too early. A young lady just walking her dog on a beach was murdered, in a crime that has shaken the whole country.

Despite a huge amount of information collected to police, the killer is still at large. We need all the help we can get to find this killer. There may be others at risk.

Toyah’s favourite song was ‘’Your Guardian Angel’’ by THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARA...

Former WWE world champion Chris Jericho with his band FOZZY. Live at The Triffid in Brisbane, Australia.

Jericho is one hell of a front man, he knows how to work the crowd and he can actually sing pretty well too. The band was razor tight. All in all a great night out.

I've also included HD footage I shot of them covering "TNT' by the legendary AC/DC!

"You know when you're bullshit, you know, metal fans, they have a bullshit detector. You try to push at them, you get caught and you'll be fucked"

On the new Soulfly album rituals...

Max: Yeah, man. You know, this record, we worked very hard on it since last year. And I think we started working on this around September of last year and it's been the whole October, whole November so it's a whole year to make a record like this the right way. We actually entered the studio, January 2nd. It was, like, celebrating New Years and then next day getting ready to get packed and go to California to record. But, it came out...

Levi: Can you tell us about the sound of your new album "As The Kingdom Drowns"?

Dave Haley: Yeah. Yeah. Like it's a natural progression from where we left off. But, there's definitely some new elements. I mean every time we record, we try to mix it up a little bit, and chuck in some stuff we haven't done before. And, you know? Just as we learn to write songs in a more catchy and better manner, you know? They're gonna naturally change. So, yeah. The whole album has definitely got some new elements, but you can hear that it is, it's us still. You know? We haven't shifted style too much. But yet, there's a lot of n...
