On the band's new album, "Damned If You Do":

Mike: "I'm very happy with it. Kurdt [Vanderhoof, guitar] and I go into the studio in his house and write and record albums like we have from the very beginning. We approach it just trying to have as much fun as we possibly can and not overthink it. If it feels to good to us, then we carry on with it. If it doesn't, we move on. Having said that, we went in the studio and had a really good time, and [now] we just hope for the best. Since it came out, we've been getting very good reviews, and that just really makes us feel great."

On the upcoming Australian tour which kicks off on New Years Eve...

Lindsay: "I'm excited to come back, I'm a little bit nervous about the harp set. I know the DJ set will be fun and easy. I'm just getting over a hand injury at the moment so I'm kind of like the drummer from Def Leppard so I'm playing my harp with my left hand. I'm a little nervous about that but honestly I think I'll be okay once my hand heals. It's just from the heavy travel with Cradle of Filth and I'm just an idiot and overexert myself. So i'm just going to do that for now. My fans are really cool and understanding If I just turned up and pla...

On the upcoming tour of Australia

We really want to try build something where we can come back and as soon as possible afterwards. Right now we are putting a set list together, we wanna play stuff from the first 7 albums and material from the new album "The Wake"

On recording the new album "The Wake"

The chemistry in the band right now is really fantastic, we found sort of a fresh style and everyone collaborated. Chewy was the main composer, we really worked like crazy. Frances who owns the studio we are recording at these days really went crazy and did lots of layers of music, it was a long trip and it's a pretty...

Former WWE world champion Chris Jericho with his band FOZZY. Live at The Triffid in Brisbane, Australia.

Jericho is one hell of a front man, he knows how to work the crowd and he can actually sing pretty well too. The band was razor tight. All in all a great night out.

I've also included HD footage I shot of them covering "TNT' by the legendary AC/DC!

"You know when you're bullshit, you know, metal fans, they have a bullshit detector. You try to push at them, you get caught and you'll be fucked"

On the new Soulfly album rituals...

Max: Yeah, man. You know, this record, we worked very hard on it since last year. And I think we started working on this around September of last year and it's been the whole October, whole November so it's a whole year to make a record like this the right way. We actually entered the studio, January 2nd. It was, like, celebrating New Years and then next day getting ready to get packed and go to California to record. But, it came out...

Levi: Can you tell us about the sound of your new album "As The Kingdom Drowns"?

Dave Haley: Yeah. Yeah. Like it's a natural progression from where we left off. But, there's definitely some new elements. I mean every time we record, we try to mix it up a little bit, and chuck in some stuff we haven't done before. And, you know? Just as we learn to write songs in a more catchy and better manner, you know? They're gonna naturally change. So, yeah. The whole album has definitely got some new elements, but you can hear that it is, it's us still. You know? We haven't shifted style too much. But yet, there's a lot of n...

Levi: Nuclear Blast just sent me a pre-released copy of the new album Power Drunk Majesty and I just finished listening to it about a half and hour ago. I really dig it, man. There are just so many epic riffs on the album and basically every metalheads wet dream. If you could tell us a little bit about the album, I heard you kinda like jammed a lot of it in Mike Portnoy's basement. Is that right?

David: Yeah we actually wrote the album at his place. We did both albums because we didn't want to have ... These are not internet records that we do. It's important for us to be together in the room, working on them tog...

On the new album "You're Not Alone"

Andrew W.K: "To be frank my only hope and ambition was to get it done. Actually finish and release an album. I had such a difficult time mostly due to my own shortcomings and personal flaws and also due to some outside circumstances, not all of which were entirely bad but which caused this whole album project to take almost 10 years. So I simplified my goal and really tried to just focus on taking physical action every single day towards getting to the finishing line. As far as themes, messages, concepts, stories and overall ideas I would say they were largely swallowed into my...

On describing what a PAIN live show is like:

Peter: "I would say it's a lot heavier than what it is on the albums. I think we're more like a real metal band onstage and stuff like that. There's a lot of head-spins and running back and forth. There's a lot of tempo onstage. We just give everything. One of these days, the head is going to separate from the neck and roll out to the crowd. [Laughs]"

On PAIN's current lineup:

Peter: "I got my son [Sebastian] on drums. I actually kind of changed the band two years because the band that I originally had since 2007 started to crack. Since I've never been so active wit...

Have a listen to an exclusive chat I had with legendary Finnish keyboardist Santeri Kallio from Amorphis. We talk about the new direction and sound of their brand new album 'Queen of Time' which will be released May 18, 2018, via Nuclear Blast Records. I also ask about the possibility of an Australian Amorphis tour and for all the vinyl nerds (like myself) I ask whether some of the harder to find titles such as 'Eclipse' will get a re-pressing in the future.

Listen to an exclusive interview I did with L.A Guns front-man Phil Lewis. We cover a wide range of topics from re-uniting with Tracii Guns, to recording the new album "The Missing Peace" and his thoughts on the upcoming tour of Australia.

Here's an except from the interview about his thoughts on Axl Rose recording new material as the frontman for AC/DC

"Yeah, if they can come up with some songs, and it sounds good… Because, clearly, Angus isn't ready to retire, and it's highly unlikely that Axl's gonna do another GUNS N' ROSES record. So, yeah, why not? Fuck it — it might be interesting to see what those two come...
