Right off the bat it's a throwback to pre Nymphetamine era fast thrashy symphonic Black Metal. "Yours Immortally" is a straight for the throat double bass assault. Definitely no surprises on the album, but for Cradle fans it features everything you dig about them. Doomy and Sinister, epic and relentless. Possibly the best release since Thornography. Guitarist Richard Shaw and Marek 'Ashok' Šmerda showcase some of their finest displays of guitar craft to date. From eerie Sabbath like drones to harmonized melodies and everything in between.
This is Cradle of Filth at its tightest, the album reaps havoc it's totally relentless from start to finish. Highly recommended for any fan of symphonic black Metal.
